Description:

The dual feed & dual electric high-efficiency desalting and dehydration technology is a new electric desalting technology jointly developed by our company, ECUST & CHEMCHINA Changyi Petrochemical Company. This technology fills the gap of similar products at home and abroad, which is an updated electric desalination equipment, and has reached advanced technology level in the world today. On Sep. 18, 2010, this technology and equipment passed the appraisal of new products and scientific and technological achievements organized and presided over by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission.

This technology has been used by many users in petrochemical and gas turbine industries. Even processing extra-heavy crude oil with density 0.9861g/cm3, the salt content after desalting is ≤ 0.3%, and the oil in effluent ≤ 150ppm.In May 2009, the dual feed & dual electric field  high-efficiency electric desalting and dehydration equipment with an annual processing capacity of 5 million tons was put into operation in CHEMCHINA Changyi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. In 2020, the dual feed & dual electric field high-efficiency electric desalting and dehydration equipment with an annual processing capacity of 10 million tons was put into operation in Panjin North Asphalt Fuel Oil Co., Ltd. According to the inspection of Jiangsu Institute of Product Quality Supervision and Inspection, all technical indicators meet or exceed the relevant national standards and regulations.

Advantages:

The equipment is small in size and covers a small area, which reduces the cost by about 30% compared with AC & AC / DC desalination equipment.

● It can not only process light crude oil, but also heavy oil & extra-heavy crude oil, especially suitable for large-scale heavy oil electric desalting unit. Ensure that the crude oil reaches the specified technical indicators after desalting and dehydration.

● Make full use of the upper space in the electric desalting vessel, and add an upper electric field composed of several groups of semi-closed disc electrodes in the upper space. The lower electric field consists of horizontally or vertically mounted electrodes. The upper and lower electric fields both treat 50% of the crude oil respectively, which greatly reduces the rising speed of crude oil in the electric field and effectively separates oil and water.

● A downpipe is installed at the bottom of the disc electrode. The salty sewage settled in the upper electric field is discharged to the bottom of the electric desalting vessel through the downpipe. The purified oil treated by the lower electric field flows to the oil outlet manifold through the channel between the two disc electrodes. The salty sewage settled in the upper electric field and the purified oil treated in the lower electric field go their own way, without contact and back mixing ensuring the desalting effect.

● The main oil inlet pipe is divided into two oil inlet branches, which supply oil to the upper and lower electric fields respectively. According to the nature of crude oil, processing capacity, and the processing effect of the upper and lower electric fields, the flow regulating valve on the oil inlet branch pipe can be adjusted to adjust the processing capacity of the upper and lower electric fields during the operation of the equipment.

● The bottom of the disc electrode of the upper electric field is V-shaped or pot shaped. The sediment and mechanical impurities deposited in the crude oil are automatically discharged to the bottom of the electric desalting vessel through the downpipe. A small amount of sediment and mechanical impurities can be cleaned by starting the back washing device.
